In the cosy, peaceful barn of our agriturismo, you can enjoy the dishes we prepare with organic ingredients. Our cuisine-simple, yet refined—is rooted in Tuscan tradition and Mediterranean culture. Open from thursday to sunday, for lunch and dinner.
We suggest to accompain our meals toour red wine (coming directly from our winery), or to the Vernaccia di S Gimignano, or to our Chianti wine. Our wine list suggests also other wines produced from other farms of the zone that respect the organic agricolture. We suggest some specialities to drink after the meal: Nocino (a liquor produced from walnut), Grappa and Walnut aromatized wine.
Among our appetizers: cold cuts from our incredible cured meats, various types of crostini and bruschette (canapés), savoury tarts, grilled and stuffed vegetables.
First courses of herbed cannelloni, malfatti (handcut pasta) alla fiorentina, whole wheat spaghetti del faraone (with honey and ginger). Farro (spelt) served in many ways: as a tasty salad, or in a soup where its flavour mingles with pancetta, beans, and herbs.
About the meat, pork raised in optimal conditions and cooked in a way that blends tradition with a dash of innovation: pork chops with hyssop and apricots, sausages, grilled ribs and steaks...
The side dishes will surprise you too: organic produce gives a rich, full flavour to our baked, grilled and sautéed vegetables. Salads and crudités are dressed with our best quality extra-virgin olive oil.Due consideration is given to vegetarians who can sample the bean stew made with our Val di Pesa chickpeas.
Our desserts are all prepared in-house: trifles, fruit and chocolate cakes, biscotti and vinsanto.
